Essex High School is proud to announce Ms. Snyder as our 2025 Teacher of the Year! Ms. Snyder, a cornerstone of our faculty, serves as the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Director, Prom Director, Yearbook Director, and a dedicated teacher mentor. Her unwavering commitment to our students and school community exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding educator.

As an active member of the school leadership team,

Ms. Snyder continuously demonstrates her passion for education and leadership. She takes immense pride in her role as the FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) Advisor. Under her guidance, students have hosted successful community events like Trunk or Treat and Family Game Night, creating memorable experiences for families and building strong community connections.

Ms. Snyder is also dedicated to expanding students’ horizons. Through her role as FCCLA Advisor, she has provided countless opportunities for students to attend conferences and events, broadening their academic and professional outlook. Her encouragement and support inspire students to explore new possibilities and reach their full potential.

Beyond her many roles, Ms. Snyder is a positive influence on our school. She is known for her uplifting words, her supportive approach, and her constant efforts to highlight the accomplishments of her students. Her dedication to fostering a nurturing and inspiring learning environment is evident in everything she does.
